Quiet location in South Croydon with free parking. Located off the A235 (Brighton Road) as well as being close to the A23 (Purley Way). Ideal for Business/Pleasure. Off Brighton Road (A235) & Close to Croydon, Whitgift Centre & Purley Downs Golf Club, close to London & Gatwick.
We have 28 rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, colour tv, direct-dial telephone, and tea/coffee-making facilities. Hairdryers and irons are available on request. The Terrace Restaurant overlooks the spacious secluded garden. A full English breakfast is available at a cost of 8.00GBP per person, unless otherwise stated, and the restaurant is also open for evening meals - for which however, advance notice is required. We have discontinued our Restaurant for evening meals, simply because of there being loads of restaurants just a short walk from the hotel. However, if you want to eat in, you just have to inquire with the reception, where we will furnish you with Menus of Restaurants that will deliver your choice of Pizza, Chinese, Indian and even Kebabs. We will even provide the cutlery for your convenience. This gives our guests a varied choice and longer availabilty. Alternatively there are myriads of cafes, bars and restaurants in all styles and price ranges in this bustling area and especially along the Brighton Road which is only a short walk away, with the majority of them being a 5 minute bus ride away. Parking is available off-road as well as at the premises (8 bays). On sundays only, no check-ins will be performed between 11.00hrs and 18.00hrs. You may check-in only from 18.00hrs onwards. You may contact us if you need to arrive earlier, whereby arrangements can be made.

All children are welcome. All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years are charged GBP 5.00 per night and person for cots. If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Clean, quiet and tastefully decorated. There is one double bed and one single bed, but no cots. Some rooms are overlooking the beautiful garden and offer panoramic views.

This an en suite single room which is on the smaller side in terms of the overall dimensions - hence its low price.
From Gatwick Airport:
- Leave the airport going North on the M23 towards London.
- Continue on the M23 across the M25 following the signs towards Croydon.
- The M23 becomes the A23.
- Continue on the A23 through Coulsdon still following the signs for Croydon.
- At the Tesco superstore in Purley go straight across the intersection onto the Brighton Road.
- Follow the signs towards south Croydon.
- Go 1.4 miles.
- After passing the 2nd petrol station on the left side of the road, take the 2nd turning on the left which is St. Augustine's Avenue.
- Go up the hill 0.2 miles.
- The hotel is on the right.
From the M25:
- Leave the M25 at exit 7 and follow the A23 and the signs towards Croydon.
- Continue on the A23 through Coulsdon still following the signs for Croydon.
- At the Tesco superstore in Purley go straight across the intersection onto the Brighton Road following the signs towards south Croydon.
- Go 1.4 miles.
- After passing 2 petrol stations on the left, the 2nd turning on the left is St. Augustine's Avenue.
- Go up the hill (0.2 miles).
- The hotel is on the right.
From Central London:
- Take the A23 to Croydon following signs for Gatwick. This will take you through Stockwell, Brixton, Streatham and Norbury.
- After Norbury make sure you stay on the A23 at the roundabout.
- Go through the 2nd roundabout (2nd exit keeping on the A23, now called Purley Way.
- When you get to Croydon Airport (no longer in operation and is now called Airport House) on the Purley Way, turn left at the Hilton Hotel into Waddon Way (0.5 miles).
- Turn right at Pampisford Rd (0.2 miles).
- Finally, turn left at St Augustine's Avenue (0.2 miles).
By Rail:
- Disembark at East Croydon.
- Go across the tram tracks and catch bus route no. 466 or 312.
- Get off at South Croydon Bus Garage.
- Cross the road at the zebra crossing and carry on up for 100 metres.
- Turn right on St Augustine's Avenue (200 metres).
